A modern makeover on the old-fashioned desserts that everyone loves.
A summertime treat. No need to heat up the house. No stove required. No cooking. Perfect and delicious recipe for a hot day!

Peaches and Cream Jello Salad Recipe below
FIRST-
For the Jello:
2 sm pks of peach Jello mix
1 lg can of peach pie filling
1 cup crushed pineapple *DRAINED
2 cups boiling water
Mix well in bowl and put in freezer for one hour to chill *Will not be set up yet

Second-
For the cream topping:
8 ounce cream cheese at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup sour cream
Mix well and set aside until jello mixture has been in freezer for 1 hour

Third-
Make crust-
Crush one pack of pecan sandies. Pour into large dish and add 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
Mix with fingers or fork until well incorporated and mash dow with hand or spatula.

Fourth-
After jello mixture has been in freezer for one hour pour over cookie crust and place into freezer for one more hour.
Fifth-
Remove from freezer and spread cream mixture over top.
Sprinkle on chopped pecans
Add mandarine oranges *DRAINED
Place back in freezer for 30 minutes
Enjoy!
Store in refrigerator
Perfect dish for family gatherings, church picnics, reunions, potluck, or just a nice after dinner dessert!
