Fruit Juices WORSE than Soft Drinks (Here’s Why)

preview_player
Показать описание
Fruit Juices are often MORE unhealthy than Coke, Pepsi & other soft drinks. Many fruit juices have more Fructose than HFCS (high-fructose corn syrup) sodas. Don't be tricked by the slick advertising of fruit juices as "all-natural", "non-GMO", and "No Sugar Added". These misleading terms ignore the true danger of regular fruit juice consumption.

Orange juice has been pushed onto the public for the best source of vitamin C...

And people get upset when you tell them it’s just processed sugar water

Growing up in the 1970s, there was a neighbor who did not buy fruit juice for her children because she claimed it contained too much sugar. We thought she was crazy. Soda was bad, but everybody knew juice was healthy. Most people still haven't come around to what she knew 45 years ago.

People drink Jamba Juice products, thinking they're healthy. The amount of sugar per serving is insane

I just can't imagine how much healthier I would be if I grew up without all the sugar. Beckett is very blessed 💝

My dentist told me she would not even have a practice if it wasn't for fruit juice and pop.

While many people in developed nations are becoming wise to the fact that fruit juice is NOT a health food, many people in developing countries, who have benefited from eating WHOLE fruit for centuries, are still under the impression that anything that has the moniker of "fruit" in it must be healthy. This is a big problem in Latin America, where so many mothers and grandmothers are feeding their children fruit juice, while under the impression that it is healthy for them. Of course, it comes as no surprise that obesity and type 2 diabetes among children in this part of the world is reaching epidemic proportions. Dr. Berry's message desperately needs to be disseminated to our neighbors south of the border.

I was told that when the label starts with apple juice even when it not apple juice, that’s just another way of saying sugar. Enjoy and learn a lot from you and you wife.
Thank you 🙏🏼

A former friend of mine drinks two liters of orange juice every day. When asked about this, she claimed that she needed it because of the vitamin C. She is very overweight and otherwise not healthy. I wanted to help her, but she got angry. Then she ended our friendship.

Hello Dr. Ken
This is off-topic, but I just had to share this ...
I've have been following your guidance regarding the Keto diet for about 4 months now.
Just left my doctors office.
My A1C has dropped from 11.2 to 5.1 in just 3 months.
My MD was 'amazed' (but she still commenced lecturing me about how unhealthy the Keto diet is).
THANK YOU !!!@

Funny that in modern countries, fruit juice means artificial industrial concentrated juice instead of fresh squeezed juice made from natural fruits 😂🤣. At least, I would have been interested to know his opinion about the latter…

Wow I have just recently completely stopped massive consumption of fruit juice, I can stand in front of mirror and watch fat come off. Also the amount of cash wasted poisoning myself.

When I say *"fructose is poison", * people grimace and shake their heads like I'm ignorant but don't know it.

What a bummer, dude. Didn’t that icon of Florida Citrus, Anita Bryant, sagely proclaim that, “A day without orange juice is a day without sunshine” ? It’s a dark day, Doc. Lol

You should differentiate between “fruit juice” that you buy on the supermarket vs natural juice made with fresh fruit which is almost non existing in the us

For those of you in doubt, Dr. Ken is absolutely right on the glycosylating effect of fruit juices. Fed your child the fruit so the fiber can control the gycemic effect of the fruit. I am a Dietary Endocrinologist.
