We rarely upgrade the cam on a Twin Cam engine due to their cranks that have a tendency to twist.

In my FLHTK M8 I was interested in Torque and Torque only, I studied all I could about the Cams on the market and I ended up between the Woods WM8-22XE or the Zippers Red Shift 468. I ended up with the 468 because of the flexibility, it could be run with everything more or less stock or with a serious set-up in exhaust, airfilter, pushrods, manifold and tuner. All without going too deep into the Motor and still keep a reasonable gas-economy since it’s a Touring Bike. I have not regretted…the 468 pulls almost right from idle up i to the 4.300 - 4.500 rpms. and honestly I don’t need to operate in that area, ..2000 -3000rpms are where I need my action, so it’s just perfect 👍🏻✊🏻☠️ 4:09

I did the 472 comp cam in my 107 and got 113 hp and 120 tk super happy with a good lope

Very nice work. I put the SE 447 cam in my M8 107 and I love it. It gives me the power boost that I wanted and I don't feel that I'm over stressing the motor.

I was after the same "Chop and Lope" for my 114 Milwaukee 8. I was impressed with the S & S 475 Cam recommended by GixxerFoo. I had it installed along with a lot of your DK Custom upgrades, i.e, external air breather, Thunder Torque Inserts, etc. Performance shot up noticeably, and I got my Chop/Lope idle.

Please, please assure me that The S & S 475 was a good choice as well.

Sounds- reminds me of the W6 Woods I ran in my stock 88ci. Programmer/air/exhaust and that thing just pulled with a test; while the buddies 96 dropped 2 gears/full throttle.. couldn’t catch up from Highway speed start/comparison. That cam has had me buying for twin-cams ever since.

The 2 Cams I'm seeing recommended all the time is the Woods 22XE Cam, and the Star 30/30. Woods 22XE cam is monstrous at low end torque, making 100lbs at the rear wheel in a 114 at 2250, and yet still delivers 120hp at 5500RPM, carrying out to 6200RPM. It's a fantastic cam through and through and that's what I'm going with when I swap out my SE Torque Cam.
My fat boy is already a quick accelerating bike with my tiny 130lb butt on it, but that 22XE looks like it's a super version of that SE torque cam. 120hp before 5600RPM is just impressive. 127TQ at 3340RPM is strong.
I cannot wait to see how much quicker that zero to 60 is with the new cam.
I got a vid of the SE cam version of my bike doing 0-60 in 3.9seconds. I wonder if I can get 3.7 seconds?
Stage 2 cams make these bikes so much more powerful, and fun, it's unreal.

How did you know you were sumping... and did you install the short sump plug that you sell? Will you be doing A video after the install?

Thanks for the video, just recently purchased the 833E Cam from Max-Cell for my S&S 132 to replace my Woods 408x. Can’t wait to see and feel the results. I was looking at the Redshift 548 and S&S 540C but my Tuner recommended the 833E. We shall see.

I'm putting this cam in my SG CVO is the 821e i believe not sure what the difference is but a engine builder told me to go with max cell

There is no published numbers or charts for any of their cams. Not sure if I want to open up a cam chest on internet hearsay.

Re: my 2021 Heritage 114; Prior to your posting this video unfortunately, I had an entire S & S 475C Cam Chest Kit install, i.e, Cam, Cam Plate, upgraded oil pump etc. My Harley Dealer who did the install also did the Dyno. The tech said it should operate flawlessly. I have since noticed when I attempt to accelerate hard, the Heritage hesitates badly, then kicks in with a jolt. Is the hesitation Normal? I would like an informed opinion before I go back to the dealer. Thank you!

I’m curious about the Harley cam upgrades. What’s the difference between a performance cam from aftermarket and Harley screaming eagle upgrades? Does the aftermarket void warranty that’s the biggest concern with my 2023 FLHTK.

Woods 22xe Fuel Moto 2-1-2 with the RTX mufflers S&S ward ported intake 5.5 injector 2020 FLTRXS with RDRS 123rwhp 133rwtq peak torque little over 3800 rpms but 122 off idle to.peak feels great !

I really appreciate the video and info you put out for us not so educated 1st time H-D owners. I have been keeping up with your Cool down mods and have most of them on my '18 SGS Aniv. Edtn. Can't wait to see the Dyno on this cam. What all did you do along with the cam install besides new bearing? How did you determine it was Sumping? Quick story for you. I live in Race City USA (Mooresville, NC) and in ' 08 when economy went to S..t I was layed off so I started mowing grass. Guess who's grass I used to mow? Jim Gutches' grass. He had gotten layed off also from Nascar team and was doing Big Bore kits in his shop at his home. This just made my day watching this video and hearing his name. Jim is a fanatically precise and detailed dude to say the least. Also really nice guy too. I am sure I will be getting one of these cams and whatever else that needs to go with it upon your suggestion for my 107 M8. Thanks as always and keep'em coming guys. Love it!!!

I lvoe your vids guys! BTW is there anyways to get a yamaha bolt to lope at idle? Id like to to sounds liek a chopping iron 883 if possible haha

Hi. Liked the video, thank you. Only had a RKS for 8 months and thinking of a filter and tuner. It had S&S twin end cans when I bought it and it sounds nice, and not too loud. What’s the best tuner and filter combo, in your opinion? V & H 3 seems a plan. Cheers. Steve 🇬🇧
