I wish we lived in a society where everything is above board. Sometimes it's difficult to bite more than you can chew especially working at school with children. We are chalk and cheese in terms of character, outlook and habits. If you are unemployed, you can be in the doghouse.Sometimes I hate hair of the dog that bit me because it renders me giddy and causes me vomitting. But most people overcome their unpleasant feelings by wanting to drinking another round of dog. If your ears are burning, it means that some people are talking behind you, according to to our custom. Your explanation is bee's knees. Thumbs up! Cheers!

If you please I looked up for idioms meaning you mentioned briefly here it’s above board means honest and not trying to deceive anyone. Bitten more than you chew means to try to do too much to take on or attempt more than one capable of doing . Like chalk and cheese means two are very different from each other they have nothing in common. In dog house means in bad situation because someone is angry at one . Hair of dog referedytp alcohol that is consumed as hangover remedy . Ear burning used to say that someone had feeling that other people are taking about him or her . We appreciate your great efforts. Best wishes for you your dearest ones .
