For many people who menstruate, using a tampon is a rite of passage. After all, tampons can be serious game-changers when you have your period. Anyone who's used tampons knows how hard it can be to put them in—especially when it's your first time. If you're not sure how to put a tampon in, don't worry, we've got you. We asked three girls who have NEVER used tampons before to try using them on camera. Some of the girls had a way easier time than others. Edit: finally uses a tampon, it’s only scary once yoir standing their contemplating if your gonna do it or not, even though it’s embarrassing and funny, look at diagrams, on the box or google, ask any women in your life that you trust because it’s natural, the only reason I had a bad experience with it is because I was scared and tense, relax and it wouldn’t hurt at all, you can’t feel a thing once it’s in their, I seriously thought it fell out so I kept checking ( I was at a waterpark lol) I will only use it if I absolutely have to though because I’m still a little scared lmao but yeah that’s it :)

I used my first tampon on the first day of my first ever period... it took me less than a minute to put in and it was without an applicator. Younger me rly said: Skip the bs, lets do this 😒

I totally freaked, and chickened out the first time I tried to put in a tampon. But the second time I grit my teeth and did it, and it wasn't that bad. It felt like the biggest accomplishment of life lol; I was so proud of myself😂😂.
