To add margin easily in CANVA, after creating the new design
Go to file - > click on settings - > click on add guides - > click on custom - > column = 1, Gap = 0, Margin = 0.375 becomes 0.38
Row = 1, Gap = 0, margin = 0.375 becomes 0.38
Add guides this will result in perfect Margins.

Hello, I am a new Children's Educational Book Author. I just had my first book published on Amazon, but I hired a publisher and spent Almost $1, 000.00. What a nightmare! The design team didn't know how to do edits, I had to guide them in everything, so I was doing all the work, after paying all that money. Finally after five (5) months my book was published and then it still was wrong. They had a lot of blank pages, had no page numbers and didn't print the title on the spine. Your video has helped me learned how to publish my own book on Amazon KDP. My book is a five book series and I will publish the next four books on my own. Dear Ivy thanks a lot, To set margins there is an easier way. File , setting, add guides, .custum- then 1 raw, 1 column then 0.38 inch for column and raw margins.
