Hey guys thanks for this, I just got my cast off and been having mobility issues in my pinker, "4th time breaking 4th/5th metacarpal" and its was hurting quite a bit when trying to use it. Thought I might have had a problem healing. Started exercising like you guys showed and its actually helping alot. Take care.

Thank you you guys. Youre awesome. I am disabled and cannot attend physical therapy. I had my cast removed last week and watching you guys is really helping me. I had a fracture below my pinky finger in the hand. Dont know medical terminology

Hi, I find you're video's fresh and funny along with being good sound advice on therapy! I broke both wrists and had surgery with metal plates and pins, starting my 5th week of recovery. Still swollen and numbish but the movement feels good. It helps the mental state as well to be part of this forum and hear from others about improvement.
Thanks, Amy

What Gtechen just said. This DOES help soo much! I had a moving propeller smash my left hand. My hand was in a soft cast for about a week - it had swollen up to the size of a baseball - before it could be operated on. Had some titanium pins and plates put in, and was in another cast for about two more weeks. Got that taken off, along with the stitches, and my hand feels super tight! I go for my first occupational therapy session next week. This might be wrong, but I can't wait - I found your video to be soo helpful in loosening up each finger of my hand, in moderation of course. Thanks soo much!

Thank you so much!! Right on time as I had an accident and 8 tendons were cut off from my left arm fingers... No broken bones thank God. I had a cast from my fingers and almost to my elbow for a month. My problem is very stiff, tight and painful swollen fingers. I go to a physic therapy sessions. But still cannot bend each joint much, just a little... I will be doing the above exercises .
Thank you and God bless you.

Washing dishes has been great therapy after left distal radius fracture, 6 weeks in cast. With stretching similar to this, my range of motion is about 60% after a week, and I see some muscle tone coming back. I use a lot of heat and I'll ice(no stretch when cold) if it swells after stretching. Starting PT in a week. Good video. I am 51 years old with lots of osteoarthritis in many joints.

My wrist cast just off two days ago. Really liking your videos. Notice a difference each day. How often should the exercises be done each day. Still get numbness in hand especially middle finger? Going to PT next week.

Thank you for the tips. My doctor kinda said the same thing so I wanted to see if I could do anything different with my injury. July 16th, I tripped and fell over a pipe and on a sidewalk face first. I broke my first bone ever, my right pinkie. It was also dislocated as well. It's been a pretty severe break but lucky it's healing with out surgery. I have about 3 weeks left in a splint but I am pretty stiff and weak. I am guessing i will be going to PT. I also have some numbness on my pinkie and have found out my pinkie is growing at an 18 degree angle and that is acceptable iam told. Ty, again. Love these videos.

Thanks, Bob & Brad, for creating this video. I just got my cast removed yesterday after 6 weeks. I fractured the radius bone of my left hand on Mar 14. Although I am able to move my fingers, my hand is super stiff, and I just can't make a strong fist like I can with my right hand. I used to lift weights in the gym. Now, after this injury, will I be able to get back to lifting weights in the gym in the foreseeable future?

Wish you had mentioned what to do when the finger is in complete contracture. I can't even move the pinky out passively (PIP joint is stiff and has been for 1 1/2 weeks after cast).

Very helpful. The exercises I did before didn't stretch enough. How many times per day should we do these exercises? Thanks
