47k for a a base model car. Then you have trucks and SUVs that are in the 70k to 90K range. I know I’m getting old because back when I was a kid we walked into a dealership that had a showroom they had a Dodge Viper with a sticker price of 75k that was considered a lot back then for a car. This was in Sumer of 1998

45k for a stripped down mustang is still sad. I remember buying an 08 GT with every option a year old with 8k miles for 22k. We didn’t know how good those days were.

I remember when a $20, 000 car was considered higher end expensive. Now 45k is considered reasonable. And I’m only 23.

I think its pretty cool that after 56 years, my 1968 Mustangs rear tailights are still on the rear of a 2024 Mustang albeit slightly different. Good looking car, definitely not digging the interior. But I'm sure its a great drive.

I agree, when I purchased my Shelby new I bought it from a dealership that 90% of their sales were F150s. I actually got to drive my car off of the showroom floor for the first test drive at 3 miles. Ended up paying 1000 dollars off MSRP when most dealerships had Shelbys at a $5-10, 000 markup.
