Bought a 2017 GT Premium with 18k miles for $24k. I’m happy with it!

FINALLY… someone pointed out the advantage of smaller wheels. Sooo sick of the massive wheels the automotive industry is shoving down our throats. And no, they don’t look like grocery cart wheels. They look appropriate.

why am i the only one who likes small wheels with fat tires more than big rimz with rubber bands wrapped around them

I can’t agree more with your assessment. I rented a brand new 2024 French Blue 4-cylinder Mustang and drove from Boston to San Francisco in March - 3, 614 mi in 6 days mostly on Route 66; a lifelong dream. The car was incredibly comfortable; sharp steering, solid brakes, fantastic headlights, 315 hp and endless waves of turbo torque across the rpm, and 36.4 mpg. The only downside was the lack of paddle shifters. Many cars claim to be GTs, this one proved to be a true transcontinental grand tourer.

Might be the cheapest but still not affordable to the average buyer. I'd still buy an older GT 2015-2022 and make it the way I want for that price.

Those screens look like they were added at the last min.

The Base Mustang GT is like a Ford Maverick. It's capable of doing what 99% of people actually need, but people are too vain to admit it.

You can’t beat the sound of the v8. When I take my 22 GT in for an oil change, I can always tell when they take it back because not even the big pickups sound the same. For those who complain about the “luxury’” or lack there of, you buy cars for different reasons. I have a manual and I know there are days when I’m going to be in stop and go traffic and it’s going to suck. But there are days when I’m on a curvy road running the gears and you couldn’t get the smile off my face. I always appreciate a good review and while I’ll always choose a manual, I thought this was a balanced review.

Crazy when a 45 aspect tire is considered a thick sidewall lol.

Mustangs GTs are built from the factory to be just that, a GT. If you want it to take turns at racing speeds or be the quickest thing down a straight line you’ll have to get a specialized package OR mod it yourself.

I like the mod it yourself route, mustangs are a car where you’ll never be able to get 100% out of the car unless you know the car and know how to drive it.

I love my 2024 Mustang GT with Active Exhaust. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Someone totaled my previous ride so. I just grabbed up a 22 cpo garage queen with premium package, blacked out, manual trans, pp1, recaros, active exhaust and mag ride for same you paid for that thing. Only thing I’d change is the seats, the recaros are a lil tight, but it’s the same price as regular 2020 premiums are going for and 23-25k less than a 2024 with same equipment. Hard to buy the 24s when you can save 20-30k on one that’s a few years old and covered under a better warranty than new. I also hated the screens in the 24s. No one needs those

I liked it. But I have to admit I am not real comfortable with the ever increasing superfluous tech on these cars. It's great that we no longer have to constantly adjust things like points and carburetors but if I want a muscle car I don't want dozens of computers and screens and electronically adjusted sounds, etc. I guess I'm just getting old. Lol

Man when he said “in the mustangs natural habitat” I thought he was about to start hitting pedestrians at a takeover or car show

It's a touring car, which is great for consumers in the late 30s, 40s and 50s. Comfortable on the highway, comfortable seats, all the basic creature comforts, and a good automatic

The screens looks amazing idk what people are talking about. If Ford used old shitty screens people would complain saying they are small and old. People are never satisfied lol

I bought my base 2016 GT, stick shift, only my paid for stripes and triple yellow, brand new with zero APR for 29, 000 from Costco, came with longer differential ratio and softer suspension, crusing on 80mph with 27 mpg

Yup! Got a black 2024 GT for 40k just a few weeks ago, msrp was 47k but they had a 45 day turn over and the car was 20 days past that. Best purchase I’ve made in a while

I just have to resign myself to the fact that I’ll never be able to buy a new car I really want again anytime soon lol. $45K for a new stripper Mustang? Oh hell no! Over $60k on average for a truck I would like? F’ng crazy. Hopefully I can still find good deals in the pre-certified slightly used market. Or better yet I can buy a four year old S65 Mercedes for $25K and put $15K into it fixing anything it might need and have a drop dead car that might last me seven eight more years 😂 🤣

I'll take the previous year without the screens
