Due to digital India Now Trending branches are Computer science And electrical/ Electronics engineering. Once upon Mechanical/Automobile engineering was in trending list And even Computer science, Electrical Electronics engineering branches Not having Proper jobs People who studied these branches are struggling for finding jobs. So now they Merged with Mechanical /Automobile Due to digital India Electronics/ Software components are More in Mechanical machines And also Day by day Electric vehicles manufacturing company are increasing and they are trying for vanishing petrol/Diesel vehicles completely.(But i know it is not possible) So now almost all people are neglected Mechanical/ Automobile engineering courses and studying software related engineering course. But remember Mechanical engineering is Back bone of all engineering branches and It will never Fails infront of any branches.

Believe me Mechanical Engineering is the toughest course. And when it comes to a job go to any IT company you will find at least 1 Mechanical Engineer. But you will not be found any other Course Engineer in Mechanical Department

As any body can make fun of study but be in such hard engineer ing course itself is very tough so please don't make fun of studies

My two advices would be:

1) Get into research if you know your subject interest and expertise. Most research programs are funded.

2) Do a course based Master's in Engineering or Project Management. This will help you in your Eng field but will alao open your doors to Operations and Supply Chain opportunities.

A simple Undergraduate (Bsc/BTech) doesn't cut it anymore.

Also if you are just in it for money don't even bother just open a business.

Very true.. there was one of my coaching teacher .. here I'm not going to take his name .. he was a brilliant student and got admission in lpu and did mechinal engineering and after degree he is unemployed eventhough he teach us but it's not permanent he even told us and said ki beta india se kabhi mechanical engineering mat kriyo kuch bhi krlena .. and it's true pleasee youth of india understand this fact that in india there are very less companies for mechanical engineering.. Australia is best for jobs in mechanical engineering Agar se india se hi mechanical me kuch krna hai toh yeh sure hai ki app bhi degree leke ghar baithe wale ho... sry to say this but it's real truth fact.
