New to the channel?

In this channel, I help young engineers advance their career by providing advice, insight, and tips I wish I had since BEFORE I started university!

I’m a mechanical engineer with almost a decade on the field and worked in different areas from technical, to project management, to industrial sites, and supporting high-priority programs worth billions of USD.

I aim at helping young engineers understand the "why" behind a degree, and help them navigate the waves of getting their first internships, jobs, co-ops.

I also host conversations with other engineers in industry to help give young engineers a full picture of what life is like beyond school.

If you are (or someone you know is) looking for insight and advice, whether or not you should climb up the ladder, or get a masters, or even how to deal with difficult coworkers or teams, stay tuned in and SUBSCRIBE!

And make sure to email me so you can get your questions answered.

Thank you for being here

Are feeling lost, unmotivated, and discouraged (don’t know what other options you have for with your experience and background
Are experiencing and feeling job dissatisfaction (you don’t hate your job, but you know you can do MORE and BETTER!)
You are having difficulty finding your ideal job
Burnt-out
You have a deep desire to “do more” and make a meaningful contribution not just to your field, also the world! (I’ve been there!)

And you want to:

Land a job you love in your current or transition to a new industry leveraging your experience, interests, and long term vision
Develop career clarity and a path for your success (AKA identify your goals and know where you are going)
Increase your income
Feel confident, motivated, and purposeful

Before committing to a graduate degree in engineering, please consider degrees outside of engineering. These would be degrees like business administration, law, computer science, etc. The technical knowledge of an engineering degree goes further than simply the realm of engineering.

I am considering it because my bachelor's, bioengineering didnt open any engineering position for me... now with my masters I hope to expand my network, apply for more internships, delvs much much deepr into mechanical engineering .

I have the option to get my MSME in a year after my BS. Not entirely sure what I want to do, but since I’m already graduating a year early for my BS I think I’m going to shoot for it. Thoughts? Thanks for the video!

If you are an international student and you want the Canadian PR (Permanent Residency) should you go for a master's degrees or should you study in a college in order to get a job fast?

For now, I'm a mechanical engineering major and am interested in aerospace engineering. However, I do not want to change majors because I still like the curriculum of mechanical better over aerospace. I am still a long way of graduation, but I was thinking of getting a masters in aerospace engineering. Is this a good path?

I am 18 and I’m in the Air Force right now I have my 36 months of free college but I’m not sure what to go into. I’m a mechanic for aircrafts and I was just thinking of getting my bachelors in mechanical engineering and work or Lockheed or Boeing but still get a masters in mechanical I just don’t know how I would balance that

Sir I'm totally lost in mechanical engineering. I'm a graduate in mech engr in Nigeria with an option in production engineering. But I totally lost it seeing lack of experience after school due to no jobs. I want to further my education in Canada. How do I go about it? College or masters. I've got degree in a university.
What courses to get me back on track.
I desire to work as a production engineer and in oil and gas
