Hello, made this today. Exact recipe, except that I added chocolate chips and about 3 tbsp of Condensed milk. It has turned out so moist and tasty. Thank you so much. Btw, this is the first time I’ve baked anything, so I’m quite happy

I just made this for my step dads birthday tomorrow, but i doubled the recipe, added less sugar and no nuts or raisins. it all went perfectly!
The cake is so soft and delicious, it's easily my new favorite cake recipe!
Now if only my vanilla bean ice cream turns out just as good...

I tried this today, and it came out more like a cake, which can be cut into pieces - which is what I wanted. I think baking it a bit longer and letting it cool down properly achieved that effect. Haven't tasted it yet, but it looks and smells good - thanks for the recipe!
