Just bc it says "knack" on the title people are bashing it. The first one was already fun and adictive, but a little repetitive and simple as most platformers we know. This one is way more fun, chalenging and diverse. If the first one was a 6/10, the second can easily get a 8.5/10. And no, you just can't judge a platformer by it's story/plot/characters bc Mario bros would get a 5/10 or less on every single game released.

Ive never played knack 1 and people said it was bad should i buy the second game?

I remember the first Knack being advertised & touted as the next great platforming game that would utilise the full power of the PS4s graphics capabilities but then after its release all we got was a very average looking game with some nice ingames mechanics to change up an old formula...

So when I heard a new Knack follow up was green lit i & many other gamer's thought the developers would take onboard the issues & complaints from the first game, but alas all we got was yet another lame looking game that should've looked like it used every ounce of the graphic capabilities of the PS4...

Yes Knack 2 is enjoyable but it would be more enjoyable if it looked amazing instead of just another lazily made game...

I understand the first Knack being the way it was as developers were most likely trying to get to grips with the next gen console's, but to do the same with Knack 2 says to me that the developers are only into delivering mediocrity...

Pity as it has some neat in-game playability but anyone that says this game doesn't need to look any better should look at other games like Ratchet & Clank...

Come on just go back & take a look at Ratchet & Clank compared to both Knack & Knack 2...

Even though Ratchet & Clank was basically a remake of an old game with a few more missions added in to pad out the game, It still looks more amazing than the Knack & Knack 2 combined, as you can easily see they used alot more of the PS4s graphics engine to deliver a great playing & looking game for Ratchet & Clank...

As I've said we are low on ground & don't have many games like Ratchet & Clank & Knack but despite my feelings towards how Knack & Knack 2 were basically lazy phone it in games, I hope the developers get one more try with Knack 3 but only if they make a game that not only plays great but looks absolutely awesome also, as Knack & Knack 2 are average looking games at best & coupled with very basic controls just don't make you want to go back & play them again...

Fingers crossed that if Knack 3 gets the nod then I hope they finally make a game that looks as amazing as many of the other grear looking games already released on the PS4 & PS4 Pro...
