In this case, her orthodontist used braces and springs to create space for future implants, and they used fake teeth called "pontics" to fill the gaps during braces. After braces are removed, then orthodontists will create retainers with fake teeth that are to be worn until the patient's growth is complete, and then implant-supported crowns are placed to replace the missing teeth.

Unfortunately I have the same problem. It’s super depressing because they’re so much money. I’ll be 25 and I got my braces off when I was 17 or so. I’ve been using retainers everyday for many years. The surgery with implants would cost me like 8-10 grand. I wish insurance covered it:/ hopefully I can get the money together in the next two years or so! Love the videos man

Thank you so much for explaining this! My papa said to take my daughter in and have them remove one of her bottom teeth so they have more room to grow in and not crooked and crowded. He said that with braces you can straighten everything out and boom good as new.
