How to make a real malted milkshake.

I decided to make this after finding out that a friend makes their "milkshakes" with bananas.

Nicely done, and not so easy with one hand filming and one hand trying to make the shake...In the classic NYC lunch counters/ice cream parlors...a shake with vanilla icecream and several shots of chocolate syrup, yields what is called a Black and White, which was always my favorite, not too chocolaty, but not pure white vanilla shake, a perfect blend...and adding the malt made it just pefect...

Ingredients are ok, but it's too watery. Needs more ice cream

Does that machine make a difference instead of using a regular blender? Or are you just using it to be retro?
