This is still happening in case anyone is wondering. SINCE 1995, there have been 3487 ships and 423 airplanes incidents with at least 58 boats that's missing and 129 small planes that's vanished.

There's actually a clear reason why we have the _Bermuda Triangle_ and somewhat similar _Devil's Sea_ in the western Pacific: both regions have major ocean currents that make a sharp right turn. As such, with the severe change in ocean current direction, this results in very unstable climate in the area of the current turning from west to north, as noted by the innumerable reports of going to from calm weather to severe storm in a very short period of time by ships and airplanes in the area.

The Bermuda Triangle was the first research paper i ever remember writing. My parents had this series of mystery books made by like Time magazine or something and one was on the Triangle.

After painlessly researching via that 1 book on the subject, I was 100% convinced at 11 years old that the Bermuda Triangle was in fact, truly dangerous and governments should not allow travel there. 😂

Is no one going to question how the pilot said it doesn’t look normal

To sum it up so then you don't have to watch the whole thing, compasses don't work there and people get disoriented and lost, crashing in the sea. As for ships, they run out of fuel and can get swept away by waves.

The person leading flight 19 lost two perfectly good planes during the war. He claimed the refeuling ship wasn't where it was supposed to be. The day the flight was lost, he showed up late and wanted to cancel the flight but wouldn't give a reason.
He may have been hungover.

Those aren't fighter jets, since this was in the 1940s, those were turbo prop aircraft or propeller planes, most likely F4F wildcats or F6F hellcats

Do people on the islands in the area disappear while out on a walk? While i do understand magnetic interference the position of the sun doesnt change so you'd think using the position of the sun would be a backup to plotting your direction.

The Fort Lauderdale pin being closer to Orlando is so frustrating.

Fort Lauderdale is literally on the south east coast.
