I feel we need a separate video addressing long term usage in general Ranjit sir. If someone plans to hold on to their device for 4 years then which manufacturer & device is better. This would need to consider not just the build of the device but OS, updates stability, security patch support, warranty, serviceability & service experience. It is difficult to gather genuine information on these aspects as a normal user but hope someone like you can help us out.

A lot of people and reviewers saying OnePlus is back by looking at the spec sheet. As a OnePlus user the issue is not with the hardware. It's the colorOS thing. OxygenOS was something they made after years of work together with the community. It worked for them perfectly, then they dumped it for colorOS. Now the updates are a complete joke. No matter how good the hardware is, if you can't provide good user experience by timely updates and bug fixes everything is of no use. Carl Pei know this very well.

I bought the oneplus 11 over the pixel, galaxy and iphone because,
1. superb charging speed (no need to carry extra backup everywhere you go)
2. charger, case and scratch guard is part of the deal. overall great value for money
3. easy availability of post sales sevice, pixel lacks that

I am currently using 1+ 8T and after 2 months of android 13 update, a green line appeared on screen 2nd week of feb. When i called 1+ service centre they told that the issue is common in 8t and 9r users. And they promised me that the display would be replaced for free. Even though i bought it in oct 2020 they were like because device is still under 3 years and 1+ supports 3 years of android updates for 8t and because the problem has occured due to software update so the display would be replaced free of cost. And thats why i have sent it for repair. Lets see if they stick to their words not.

Update :- got my 8T repaired free of cost. A new display has been put free of cost

I shifted from OnePlus 5 to 11. I really miss the real Oxygen OS. I miss the OnePlus slate font too. Hope they come with good updates resolving these issues.

I got 16gb variant for 47k after exchanging my OnePlus 6t and that price point it's killer phone. I don't know why people are comparing with s23 ultra. Samsung tied up with qualcom for sd 8 gen 2 chip and made clock 3.2G .. so definately geek bench scores will be higher compare to OP 11. Definately 1.3Lak not equal to 50k

Loving this QnA series 💞
Hope to see this QnA for all devices!
~Really disappointed with lot many compromises made by OnePlus
~I don't know what's holding OnePlus back from bringing OxygenOS back

When I'm giving 60k I'd rather be sure of future and give my money to Samsung or apple as OnePlus is quite a expert in crippling the device.

You are simply the best. i have been using oneplus since Oneplus 3. now i am using oneplus7 and was planing to upgrade. considered oneplus 11 but the ui sucks. pre booked s23 only after seeing your video regarding the battery life of 23. Hope i made a good choice.

I feel that android companies intentionally slow down the phone's performance with OTA updates. If possible can you perform a comparison of android smartphone thatlaunched maybe last year without apply any major updates to it and then compare it to same smartphone in which latesr ota updates are installed? Ex s22 plus without OTA updates and then compare it with s22 plus with ota updates or maybe just compare it with latest s23, both without any OTA updates
It would be an interesting comparison 🤔

just to remind for performance there is a separate button to toggle which is called high performance mode

I am using OnePlus 5 and it's been 6 years... Working like a charm, single complaint i have ...

Benchmark should be done after turning performance mode ON for OnePlus. They do underclock the processor for regular use.

Hey I am currently watching this video from my One Plus 11 5G and I also own an iPhone 13(not the pro version). I some how find the amoled display in the One Plus better than the iPhone for some reason. I might be biased however I would have to accept this, the 16gb ram and 256gb storage version runs eons faster than the iPhone. The phone just feels super snappy. I have been a long time fan of iOS, however some how I always find my self picking up the one plus instead of the iPhone in case of general use.

Ranjit sir, i am a tech enthusiast and changes my primary smartphone max to max in one year, i have used Samsung, Apple, OnePlus as well as Pixel flagships.
Currently i am using pixel 7 and buying a Pixel 7 was a worst decision for me
I regret not buying a S23 or OnePlus 11
I recommended S23 and OnePlus 11 to some of my frnds n relatives and they are happy and satisfied, even with the newly launched Iqoo neo 7 pro
Pixel 7 has great cameras but it's not of use as the device starts lagging after using cameras for just 5 mins in outdoors.
And except cameras everything is sort of average or below average.
So to conclude, Ranjit sir i respect your opinion as i am following you since last 10 years but please don't recommend or compare Pixel 7 to any device for now as it's totally a bullshit device and it's better to use a 20k device.

Hi Ranjit sir,
By default high performance mode is turned off in OnePlus phones. You can turn on High performance mode and then run benchmarks again and compare the scores.

Ps. I ran benchmarks in my OP 10pro with and without high-performance mode and there for performance difference if nearly 20%

It's the oneplus 11R that's getting my keen interest. Oneplus has gone back to its roots at least in terms of price to performance. 11R is indeed such a great phone for 39k

Any why all youtubers say oneplus is back. Also my 7t has 2x optical zoom lens

I sold my beloved 1+ 8 Pro just because how much it felt like a Oppo device, it just lacked the snappiness nature of a 1+ device. Thinking of buying the S23 Ultra, just waiting for your review on that device.
