Repotting Houseplants (Beginner Tips)

This is how to repot a basic houseplant. This is a raindrop houseplant. I’ve had it for two years now and I haven’t reported it yet.

Well, this houseplant has been neglected long enough, so in this video I repotted my raindrop house plant.

First thing I did was remove it out of its original plastic container. Then I drilled a drainage hole in a slightly bigger container.

This house plant was slightly root bound so I carefully removed old soil and loosened the roots.
Next, I added some new potting soil to the bottom of the new pot. The idea is not to bury the plant when you repot it. It’s also important to pack that soil down so theres enough soil in the new container.
