How to Properly Clean Your WRX STi Interior

I go through a thorough interior detailing process. Although I'm doing the cleaning on my 2019 Subaru WRX STi, the process is identical for 2015-2021 Subaru WRX's and nearly identical for most other cars.

I normally start the process by removing any loose items from inside of the car. Floor mats come out next. I have weather-resistant floor mats, so the clean-up is always a lot easier. Once the floor mats are out, I make sure to vacuum the interior thoroughly and pick up any loose debris from the floor mats as well. I'll spray the plastic surfaces with Windex and wipe them down to remove majority of the gunk.

Now the real cleaning process starts. I use Nextzett Plastikreiniger to thoroughly clean the plastic, followed by the Nextzett Cockpit Premium to apply that perfect matte finish. I briefly clean/condition the leather and clean the interior windows and weather-resistant floor mats with Windex. I finish the process off by conditioning all of the rubber seals around the car with the Nextzett Gummi Pflege Stift.

Before I vacuum, I use compressed air to all the dirt out of nooks and crannies, it will end up on the mats and then shake out the mats and was them with a scrub brush!

I spent fours yesterday cleaning the inside of my regular cab tundra!!Looks great but I;m feelling it today from all the twisting and turning!
