The 406 Coupe was and still is a beautiful looking car.

Im looking for one of these in Poland with a 3.0 V6 petrol manual instead of a CLK, it's unusual, unique and quite cheap to run because of the peugeot badge. Very underrated car and I love when something like this is on your channel, it shows people that you don't have to have an expensive car with premium nonsense attached to it to have something good.

“You’d swear you were in a luxury Car” because it is, despite the misconception that only Germans make Luxury cars, the French have made some lovely cars, especially coupes. I owned a 2010 Laguna Coupe and always had people come up to me asking what it was. Some even compared its styling to an Aston Martin (a stretch obviously, but it was a lovely looking car) The Started motor failed but other than that it was perfect for 6 years of my ownership. 4 wheel steering and a silky smooth v6, Bose stereo, heated electric leather etc

I think it’s a UK thing, it needs to be BMW or Merc, which ironically have been some of the worst cars I’ve owned over the years

I had a my grandads old 405 1.9 diesel when I was at uni.

My girlfriend’s mum wouldn’t let me start it early in the morning as the clatter it made caused complaints from the neighbours.

Best car ever.

The moon is about 240, 000 miles away, so the Pug has got a few miles to do yet to get there! ;) :D

The front has always reminded me of sharks "face" (?) with the sloping lights and gills. I love the new style Peugeots. Very sophisticated looking and classy

One of the most beautiful designs that PSA ever did. And with a V6, petrol or diesel, it's surely a sleeper.. if I'm not wrong, the coupes were not produced at the same place as the sedans and the wagons...
A very nice car

I have a soft spot for Peugeot coupes; the 406, 407 and RCZ are all cars I really like. I think Matt's description is spot on; the 406 Coupe is pretty, the 407 Coupe is striking, although I think the Shark mouth look works on the coupe. After the work, it does not look like a car with 170k on the clock, you could easily convince me that has half that.
It's another example of how a supposedly unreliable a car, or brand, can be reliable IF it's looked after, and that 407 has definitely been looked after.

I had a 2009 3.0HDi for 10 years. Fabulously comfortable, extremely reliable (due to regular servicing), and pleasingly rare. As maybe mentioned elsewhere, it was built on a separate production line along with the C6 and hence why the quality was a step up from the standard P407s. Eventually replaced it with a CLS Shooting Brake for the extra boot space.

Talking of "never have thought the french would have thought of such a thing", Rolls Royce and Mercedes paid Citroen to license their hydropneumatic suspension, as it was the very best 😮 french barges are very often underrated, simply for not being German to be fair

Get an original DS on the channel. What a car! Directional headlights in the 1950s 😮

Its double glazed, the doors have safety bars (iron) in them and therefore the hinges need regular maintenance as the doors WILL sag and then the door wont close without a slight lift motion. Think of it as a Peugeot soft-close Matt.

These cars are incredible as long distance/highway cruisers. Quiet, comfortable, composed on the road, loaded with features and creature comforts, space, etc. I've loved all 7 years of my ownership- although mine is the petrol V6, so it's not as efficient in town. But i love her all the same.

I'm glad Matt liked it, now I can call my resident assassin and cancel the contract 😅😂
