LOL> about 80% of the characters I make are Females, so I am way more interested in making Female hair. I also want to be making hairstyles to sell on the Reallusion Store and Marketplace, since Daz Hair is such a Fn nightmare to deal with and between 75 and 100 dollars to buy with the export license to put in games. I see an opportunity to start expanding the CC3/iCLone library's.
You are right also that there isn't a lot of choices with the men's hairstyles either.

This is a great find for me, thanks! Just started working with a CC3 - iClone7 - UE4 pipeline for our project, which now features a brief stop in Blender for hair. Limited knowledge with Reallusion as of yet - I take it once you create hair based on the Kevin model in CC3, you can then use it on any model after, is that right? Thanks - will be checking out your forums next!

Hi Mike! where i missed the part when you create a opacity map for your hair in 11:29, that moment when you applyed (paint-copy) material from another hair strands to this one wich you crated on this video? This type of hairs i based on hair "Cards" we have to prepare for each a opacity map by us self, am i right? Thank You and have a good time <3

I use blender 2.83 and I just bought Hair Tool 2 - for Blender 2.8. I don't really recommend the tool, because I got 3 python errors within first 5 minute. Then my blender project broke....

9:25 I'm a 3D Max Guy. Can you elaborate on some of the things you do in 3D Max that you can't do in IClone?
For me it's hard to justify the cost of 3D Max. Thank you.

The hair isn't lining up properly when I bring it into CC3. Do you know why that is? am I doing something wrong?

Hey, Thanks, this is awesome!! When I export to OBJ, the hair strands don't seem to follow. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I see the white mesh in the shape of hair, but it doesn't look like hair. It is my second day with blender. Any idea why the hair isn't in there? Thanks again!

SO, (BIG), and I am talking (Huge LOL). I am really proficient in Blender 2.79. I have had, and or have not seen any reason to learn or go to Blender 2.8 for any reason, until now. I like the Plug in you have for the hair creation. It looks way more easy than doing it the old way. That is essentially the reason I spent 700 dollars to buy Character Creator3 instead of modeling characters from scratch in Blender/3D Coat, ext.
Did You make this program/plugin or are you just demonstrate it. It looks to be an awesome thing.

I'm following the tutorial and made it up about the 735 mark. I can't go further because I can not find the Hair Grooming/Interactive toolbar. I searched for an add-on download but can't seem to find one. I have the latest version of Blender. Any help appreciated. Was a great tutorial up until I came to a stand-still:(

All is well until I realized that I didn't have Kevin installed..tried to install him using Smart Gallery but somehow it doesn't work because there's nothing being shown inside the window. Do you mind sending me the files for CC3 Kevin to my email?
