This is actually good to know! As I use my bluetooth ear piece whenever I chat on my cell phone. I was doing it because I just hate holding a phone. Especially for long timed calls. But didn't know that I'm befitting from it too! :)

I assume traditional cord ear buds would be the safest?

Listening this with my philips bluetooth headphones, pretty concerned about this in the beginning, but happy hearing they're not so bad😁

Hi Dr Greger. I have hearing loss through exposure to loud music including hyperacusis/recruitment, tinnitus and ear fullness. Is there anything which could possibly regenerate my damaged ear hair cells? I’m a music producer and this is an awful condition to have :-(

Thanks, I am usually on speaker and on youtube more than on the phone.
You know what really concerns me? My electric meter is about 15 feet from where I am the most and a whole bank of meters is about 25 or so feet away. Alot closer depending on where I am. These are all around the complex I don't know why there are so many
We don't pay for any other utilities besides electricity. Have you studied it? I'll have to find your video if so. Thanks again.

We've been saying this for ears. Catch up science. Talk on speakerphone if possible folks.

What about Wi-Fi calls in messengers such as What's App? I'm always in flight mode inside buildings but using Wi-Fi.

Does detectable hearing loss occur after an hour using an old-school landline?

That's great, but who uses their phone as a phone very much these days? People spend more time looking at it: for messaging, surfing and watching videos. I guess in that case, it's the effect on the eyes and the organs near where you hold the phone that should be tested.

you're a doctor...what about the electromagnetic field from an MRI...

The overly loud jingle at the beginning and end of Nutritionfacts.org videos is dangerous to hearing. (Actually, the damn "thump" is the problem.) I always have to remember to cut the volume down before I watch a nutritionfacts video or else I might have a very painful experience. For crying out loud, can't you mike it down?!

This video is nonsensical. The guy sounds drunk, and doesn't seem to understand electromagnetism whatsoever. The studies referenced were also quite dubious. The tiny fields produced by these devices have no effect on us. You're regularly exposed to far greater field shifts from other sources. In regards to radiation, we're constantly exposed to radio waves (and other light in general) that doesn't interact with us. You only need to worry about certain X, UV, and gamma rays. Or if you somehow find yourself in an oven where the radiation is contained and able to produce a lot of heat under the right conditions. The correlation between phone use and hearing loss could be from all sorts of factors. The thing about having that device implanted in somebody's ear doesn't seem like a reasonable comparison to normal phone use.

Below I didn't mention the term Smart Meter, that is what I was referring to.

I wonder who donates to the organisations that completed the research.
