I've been using this camera since 2015 and still can take great photos and videos comparable to the latest models out there. The best thing about it's kit lens is that it has Power Zoom, which is good for video and it also has Optical Steady Shot, good for video and photos especially at low light. 👍 Unlike other kit lens from different camera models.

I have used the a5100 to make 400 YouTube videos -- have several bodies - great little camera. Still look good too. Good 1080p video. Good show, Cheers.

I am and old guy and this is a great travel camera option if you don't want to carry a big dslr or a Hasselblad

I own one Sony A5100 and I'm very happy with it.

I was thinking of buying a Sony A6700 but I've read that the sensor performance of the A6700 shooting in raw, is quite similar to the Sony A5100.

You gain with the A6700 between 1/3 and 2/3 of a stop in dynamic range, Iso performance and colour depth.

In video the A6700 is clearly a better camera, but in photography as far as image quality is concerned the differences are minimal.

¿ Did you take them mounting the camera on a tripod or handheld?

Nice video! Could I ask what capture card you use with this a5100? I think it would be a good idea if you made a video about that. A lot of people searching for this type of video. Thanks.
