I think it is still worth it for the price. I bought it for 340 euros with the kit lense cause I didn't have an high budget (600 maximum). but with 450 euros I was able to buy other 2 batteries, a big sd card, a good tripod and a decent microphone and still be able to save 150 euros!
I think for beginners who don't have an high budget this is a great start.
I record my audio separately but this is not a big deal, I sync them with a simple clap before starting to speak. The problem of overheating could be solved with portable fans or ice if you are at home. But I think if you have a low budget you should "accept" these little problems.
If I'm not a professional and just want great footage saving 500 euros is great!
cause for example now I will need a ring light and I have the money to buy it bbecause of how much I saved. I think it's amazing

I understand your point but from the other side i think u guys are very sensitive and u want to buy things all the time because of marketing . An expensive new camera does not make the good photographer. I know photographers with old cameras making pieces for art and vogue and also photographers with new expensive cameras don t know basic composition and i didn t wanna talk about the edit.... is even worse... I use a5100 and im working professionally.

my A5100 Turns off and on automatically its only a year old maybe 600 pics tooken. its in the switch cause if I hold it IT DOESNT DO IT. any one know how to fix it

I need a camera for YouTubing. The video will be dealt with the tech stuffs and video will be shooted in a studio environment with full lights.
Will this camera gives better video quality on that studio environment?
Is kit lens (16-50 mm) is sufficient for shooting tech stuff?
