This strain is not ideal for people suffering from depression who feel like their inability to self-motivate is a key driver of their condition.

3. White Vein (Best For Depression)

White vein kratom is the most stimulating in lower doses and the most euphoric in higher doses. Even high doses of white vein kratom aren’t going to carry the same sedative effects as red strains or some green strains. This is a good option for people who feel depressed and unmotivated because it provides both euphoria and energy-boosting effects.

DOSAGE GUIDELINES

In general, the dose of kratom is between 2 and 12 grams.

1 teaspoon = 2.4 grams

General kratom dosage guidelines:

I can relate, I’m 41 and have been struggling to get off suboxone for 10 years, it’s destroyed my adrenals. I also have had severe anxiety and depression. I can’t bring kids into this world that might possibly have my same issues, I am trying kratom soon. I just don’t want anyone to suffer the way that I have. Thank you for the straight forward and honest approach. I definitely experience some anxiety relief and happiness that almost seems natural. It has given me hope that happiness is possible. Nothing is perfect so unfortunately there is a negative side, such as withdrawal. You will geth withdrawals from most anxiety

I utilize it for pain relief and only use one tsp or 2.4 grams, and it works well. If you're switching from prescription opioids you may need a higher dose from my understanding.

You need to take tolerance breaks from it. Some people have an issue with that because they need to take it every day. I use edibles in place, which isn't near the same relief. I don't work, though, so it's easier for me to take breaks.

Hey brother. We have very similar stories. I won't go into it, but I'm 60 and been doing it longer.
There is some research done in the late 70's about a chemical imbalance that causes a lack of dopamine in the brain.
Antidepressants cured some with depression but not those with low dopamine levels.
This German doctor started prescribing low dose opiates. This had a very hi success rate. But knowing the abuse level it was not a sustainable option.
There is some adjacent research also from Germany ( I think ) that gave doses of maloxzone for a year. Narcan binds to the same receptors as opiates but does not cause euphoria at the prescribed levels.
Also the narcan cause the brain to make increased levels of dopamine for years after stopping the narcan.
That's all behind me now. My brain chemistry has changed as I've aged.

I use Kratom to help with pain since I was dropped down to less than half of what I was taking without a weaning period. My pain Dr, for 5 years, had a heart incident that forced his retirement, so he sold his practice.
My APRN said she couldn't give me that much with no real explanation.
Kratom is really helping me get through this until I find another provider.
