Buried shipping containers will not hold up to the weight of earth on the tops and sides without adding very heavy re-enforcement. It doesn't look like any provisions for drainage, such as french drains were added to keep moisture out of the shipping containers.

It has always been my understanding that containers were designed to be stacked, abd the side walls and roof would not with stand the much weight pressing in, , maybe I missed it but how did you reinforce the walls and roof ?

All that time prepping and no concrete foundation or surround to protect the steel containers? Curious why not. And what did you do after the first one shifted that was visible in video? Great workmanship on the house items though.

WOW! I didn't see the video of you transforming the attic... what a GREAT SPACE!!! It looks SO PEACEFUL!!! And I LOVE the technique of filling in all the small splits and cracks on that live edged plank you turned into the table... I thought you may have used that technique on the bathroom sink, but you didn't show it on this time lapse, and on the original bathroom video I was distracted while I was watching it, so I missed a few parts here and there.... I have seen anyone do it that way... they usually go around the table and fill each crack one by one, and that is just stupid. They ALWAYS miss spots, and when it dried there are some spots where the epoxy breaks away from smaller cracks because they're next to big cracks, so the epoxy in the bigger crack must not allow the wood to flex I guess... 🤷‍♂ But I've always wondered why they wouldn't just pour over the entire surface and get ALL the openings, and just sand it down smooth.... it so much quicker, less work, and you only waste a little bit of epoxy getting sanded off, which it totally worth avoiding so many headaches....
Anyway, I saw a really cool technique of making a sink top, and counter-tops, with cement.. and he made a mold just like you would if you were making it from epoxy, its basically the same techniques, but he treated the surface with something that added a texture to the concrete and made it as smooth as glass... And I thought maybe it would be something you might be interested in if you were doing some outdoor work that used concrete or cement.... I wish I could tell you more about it, but I don't remember what it was, but it well known and used quite a bit... So I thought I might suggest you look into it and maybe you could find some new and creative ways to work with concrete/cement :) - I just know that whatever you guys get into making you just knock it all out of the park and make some of the most creative pieces UI have ever seen!!! From the Van (that you can drive LOL) to "Bugatti" ... and the upcoming vehicle we have yet to see.... even with cars you guys do things YOUR WAY and that is what makes Life So GREAT!!! - You guys are doing such amazing things with this house, I'm actually a bit jealous that I didn't stick with the art stuff I used to do when I was younger.... But it's never too late and I might start a new project some day soon :) - Thanks for sharing all of this with us... you guys RIOCK!!!

Got to say, one minute in and my heart already sings from seeing wood be put properly up against a wall with concrete under so that it can dry without getting rot.
