People are awfully quick to judge this guy. I don't think he's building a doomsday bunker or anything that's going to take a direct hit. Just something that is going to provide him temporary shelter from debris. He obviously lives in an area of the world where there is a necessity for this and came up with a cost-effective way to build it. If I were in his position, I'd probably try to do something similar.

Use cargo containers and cement and insulator to protect yourself, two or three cargo containers but in typhoon one is ok just for debris 😊

OR….you could have simply placed a cargo container (over the prepped floor) and poured concrete around the walls……..

This is not a bunker that can protect from anything. It's simply just a room underground. A lot of work for nothing.

Aggregate in the concrete seemed a little large but hey it will probably work out fine. I assume this is more a storm shelter than a bunker, and just for temp shelter or storage.
