This is honestly my favorite star wars channel. It gives information, and also makes the video long enough for ads without feeling like hes repeating himself.

Something literally ever other channel struggles with.

I really don't know why all the comics and storytellers say Vader couldn't survive out of his suit..
There are several instances where he's out of the suit, in a bacta tank..
Or in his meditation chamber with his breathing apparatus off..
His meditation chamber was pressurized..
Meaning, he could breathe freely Inside it, without the respirator..

Sidious was afraid that Vader would over throw him, he didn’t even train with Darth Vader cause he was terrified that he would be much more skilled and powerful.

In truth... in Legends, Vader did upgrade his suit. This is something that is in contrast to the comics.
In the Rise of Vader, Darth Vader is damaged while pursuing an ex-Jedi.
He is offered assistance in doing the repairs and upgrades by Palpatine. Vader however makes it clear that he will be making his own upgrades.
It is the first time that Vader stands up to Palpatine.
It was however the advanced suit that put him at risk. It would have allowed him to use force lightning... but would have required putting his life in someone else's hand and dying temporarily. This he did not do.
And it is clear that Palpatine held an advantage over him with that weakness in place. This part is assumed as it is not clarified in Legends

If Vader had an upgraded super suit there would be no stopping him. Even Palpatine would be helpless against the might of Lord Vader.

Makes no sense considering he hung out in a Bacta tank constantly out of his suit when not needed by Sideous.

This all makes me wonder one thing however:
We know that Force Lightning would short out Vader's suit and his life support. But we also know that Sith Alchemy is capable of altering the properties of metals and alloys in such ways that they become foci for the Dark Side, like Ancient Sith Blades. Those were basically ordinary metal swords, forged via Alchemy and turned into weapons equal to, if not even more deadly than lightsabers.
That begs the question: could Sith Alchemy be used to counter the negative effects that Force Lightning had on cybernetics, maybe even make them 'conductive' in a beneficial manner?

In the next disney movie featuring t darth Vader they should feature vader in an upgraded suit. My idea mace returns and fights vader basket damaging his suit so palpatine forces vader to switch to a state of the art one. He has a rematch with mace defeating him but the new suit is also destroyed in the process. Vader feels the new suit weakens his connection with the force so he has his old one repaired and switches back.

Imagine If Darth Vader would wear a suit that's forged with Sith Alchemy and would allow Vader to be Immortal.

Curious question. If it is stated that one of the reasons he did not transition to the new suit was because he could not be removed from his original suit for a moment, due to potentially dying due to lack of life support....then how is it that we see Vader completely out of his suit, basically naked except for underwear in a bacta tank (canon material)? He is clearly fully removed from his suit there and should have been able to be moved from said bacta tank into his new suit. Just doesn't make sense to me as a valid reason....

So in cannon Vader stayed in the suit because Sidious wanted to keep him under control and weak. Later he was able to make improvements to it and he could leave it temporarily to take Bacta baths. In legends there was a second suit constructed but Vader didn’t want it because he could die if something went wrong while transferring to it. With the exception of susceptibility to force lightning, he liked his current suit. All the pain and suffering made him more powerful in the Dark Side of the Force.

Talk about irony... Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader has got to be the saddest and most tragic character in all of fiction/science fiction. The very thing that makes him so powerful is the very same self hatred, self suffering, and self loathing he imposes upon himself. Imagine you have virtually unlimited power and unlimited money. People fear you, respect you, hang onto your every word, and obey you. Women adore you and would jump at the chance to get a peek at what’s under the helmet. Men want to be you. You can go anywhere, do anything, kill anyone, and no one will say a word. And all you had to do to be this powerful was to hate yourself more than anything else in the entire galaxy. The very thing that keeps him powerful is also the very thing that doesn’t allow him to take any pleasure in anything he does. I think that’s ultimately why he turned on Sidious in the end. A Sith has to be psychopathic enough to enjoy what they’re doing to be truly dedicated to it. Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader was a lot of things but he was never really a psychopath.

He would make a very interesting case study for mental illness and divisions of personality. It would be very dangerous though as I doubt Vader would let anyone examine his mental state. He’d probably kill anybody who tried to psychoanalyze him.
