Why atheism is dangerous

For 1 month, I studied the history behind atheism. And I learned that it's dangerous to be atheist. Let me tell you why.

Correction: Galileo wasnt athiest. He was put under house arrest and had freedom to continue his works. In fact, he saw the Word of God and Book of Nature as not conflicting each other. He was devout Catholic ✝️

Just one thing, being atheist does not mean you "believe" in science. Atheism is lack of belief in god it's a neutral positioning, not an active one. Actually there is even atheist religions ( like budism, since there is no god in budism but they still believe in the supernatural)

I read Galileo wasn't an atheist. In fact, he was a devout catholic but he also believed in science and he was trying to find a way for science and religion to work together. Unfortunately, he was unable to achieve that. Instead, he was imprisoned.

As an atheist, this is true, we normally base the truths off of science and research rather than the bible, or any other holy book, if you do want to believe in god, beleive, if you dont want to, dont, its completely fine and doesnt make up who you are

Believing in God never stops you from questioning things, infact God irrespective of any religion is power and hope . This power helps us when no one is there with us and the hope for a better future is what makes us thrive through rough situations .

The danger is when "religious" people blindly believe whatever random people wrote in a book thousands of years ago. maybe those rules don't apply well with the world today.
