Dumb Things Christians Say to Atheists - Tier List

Christians actually say this stuff to atheists! Today, I'll be ranking bad Christian arguments and misconceptions about atheists in a tier list. Want to learn how to talk to an atheist? Avoid these cringe-worthy Christian comments. Want to avoid bad arguments for God? Well, here's why these arguments against atheism will earn you nothing but dumbfounded stares and face-palms.

My goal with this video isn't to mock Christians (aside from John Hagee). I'm sharing this, because I think they/you can do better and I want to elevate the discourse.

I’m from Germany and it’s kind of weird that “being an Atheist “ is such a big thing in the USA. Here people would normally just assume that you are not religious or believing. Being an atheist is totally normal here.

A couple of years ago I opened my front door to a man and a young girl who asked if I had found Jesus. I told them I wasn't looking for him and closed the door.
Why don't I ever get someone knocking on my door asking if I understand quantum mechanics? I would invite them in for coffee and want to hear what they had to say.

A few hours ago. I got told by my father who is a Christian and i quote: "You can't just say that you are an athiest, its rude" And by some other people: "You can't stay an athiest forever. Its not good."... It never fails to piss me off.

As a Christian myself, I cant help but agree with you with this whole thing. It's literally bonkers to me how some Christians can't wrap their heads around other people having different belief systems or lack thereof. Christianity isn't the default for anyone, its one of many belief systems, so it's so bizarre to me how so many Christians clutch their pearls when encountering someone who believes something different

I had a preacher once say to me, "if there is no God, then how do planes stay in the air? Gods hand holds them" so I said, "so when a plane crashes, is it because god sneezed?"

I walked away from Christianity the moment someone told me that, because I have Epilepsy, my seizures were me "being possessed by the spirit of Satan, " and that I was being punished for "contributing to the evil in our world" by refusing to believe. Sadly, there are millions of other atheists in the world who are still hearing the same thing.

Should have added the argument that, "You'll become religious again when you're older or near death." Everytime I've heard that I've assumed it means all the old people praying in church are just cramming for the final exam. 😆
