This is the most controversial month. But it has to be done. This is what I learned from studying Atheism for 1 full month.

Thank you to @YuvalNoahHarari and @Sapienship_Lab for helping me in this journey!

Thank you for watching Nas Daily!

I am an Atheist. I used to be a Buddhist because my family believes in Buddhism but i was so curious about this religion because in Myanmar, Buddhism is more like worshipping Buddha and less listening to his words. So i got curious about Buddhism and started investigating and found that Buddha never said to worship him he only wanted people to listen to his words and do so. He also said not to believe his words because he said so, investigate first and it depends on you whether you believe it or not.
Now I became an Atheist but still follow in his words because his words are really effective in society. But i don't perform spiritual things like praying or becoming a monk.

The verse you're referring to is from Surah Al-Imran, Ayah 190. It reads:

**"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding."**

*"Humanity's greatest achievement was the discovery of ignorance; when we learned how little we truly understand about our world and how it works."*

I guess Hinduism is most closest and farthest from atheism we too have many scriptures calculating exact distance from sun to earth with many other mathematical formulas too and we too have nastik darshan or atheist view books.

3:33 Humans didn't evolve from monkeys.. we share common ancestors, why spreading misconceptions

Harkon-ir
Автор

The statement that humans came out of monkeys is a misconception that stems from a misunderstanding of evolutionary biology. Humans and monkeys share a common ancestor, but that ancestor was not a monkey. Instead, it was a primate that lived about 25 million years ago. This common ancestor gave rise to two separate lineages: one that eventually led to modern monkeys, and one that eventually led to modern humans.

In other words, humans and monkeys are like two cousins who share a common grandparent. Neither one is descended from the other. They simply share a common ancestor.

This common ancestor was a small, arboreal mammal with a relatively small brain. Over time, the two lineages diverged, and each one evolved adaptations that were suited to its own environment. Monkeys, for example, evolved adaptations that made them better at climbing trees and eating fruits. Humans, on the other hand, evolved adaptations that made them better at walking upright, using tools, and communicating with each other.

The fact that humans and monkeys share so much DNA is evidence of their common ancestry. Humans and chimpanzees, for example, share about 98% of their DNA. This is a very high degree of similarity, and it is much higher than the similarity between humans and any other animal.

The fact that humans and monkeys share so much DNA is also evidence of the gradual process of evolution. Over time, small changes in DNA can lead to major changes in an organism's appearance and behavior. This is how the common ancestor of humans and monkeys was able to evolve into two very different species.

So, the next time someone tells you that humans came out of monkeys, remember that this is not true. Humans and monkeys share a common ancestor, but they are not descended from each other.

As a Buddhist I can tell u that Atheism is the closest thing to the Buddhism, because lord Buddha had thought everything which science has discovered and which science will discover tomorrow ❤

"Atheism and Buddhism represent two facets of the same coin: Atheism epitomizes the explicitly or artificially natural perspective, while Buddhism embodies the implicitly or naturally natural aspect. Both systems have evolved over time as products of human creation, grounded in principles of nature and science." Dilawar Khan

After watching this I realized that in my whole life I was an atheist cuz even I follow buddhism I use to be curious about everything and finding it by myself. Until now I didn't even knew there is something call atheism but buddhism helps me to be curious and find the truth since it dosen't rely on gods but nature and universe plus buddha himself was an atheist who find his own path for question. And I will remain my self as an atheist who will be curious find truth for questions by myself, buddhist who love teachings of buddhism and meditations. Thank you Nas daily you teach us alot.
