A Quiet Day Spent Alone - Inspiration for Simple Living - Cozy Baking Vlog

Just a little insight into a day I might spend alone - foraging for Wild Chamomile (Pineapple Weed) and Wax Currants. At the end of this video I share some of my thoughts on my lifestyle, and what drew me to leading a life of simplicity and quietness. I have not yet mastered how to live this way, but every day I feel greater abundance and love. Hugs to all!

This is literally my dream. I’m a very introverted person since I’ve struggled with mental health and bulimia. This is like a fairytale to me, like a way to escape. Congratulations on your recovery (from "civilization")! As a life-long "nature-girl" and introvert, I had always aspired to live as you do. I escaped Brooklyn as soon as I could (mid 20s) and have steadily progressed to living as close to nature and as peacefully and remotely as possible. Now, in my mid 50s, I am in graduate school, making a career change to become a therapist. My goal is to use nature as much as possible to help clients find peace and healing, no matter what their challenges might be. This video hit home. I've been studying 6 hours a day for the past 6 years to be the best at my firm, but I do feel the need to let it all go and move somewhere cozy, live in harmony with nature, and be myself. Ever since I was a kid I was dreaming to have this beautiful house near a lake and be surrounded by nature. Now I know that this "house" I was dreaming of, doesn't have to be a palace. A simple, beautiful cottage will do. I need to find a place like this..
