I’m with you Sanna! My husband and I sold our business to move to the woods in the northern US. Not as far north as you! Like you, we are here to live within Nature, slow our lives to the pace of Nature, work with our hands to fulfill our needs, live with very little money, and learn that this is enough, that we are enough. What a beautiful day you created for yourself! It's rare nowadays to see people your age live in the moment and enjoy the precious simple things in life. I am an old lady, originally from Switzerland, but now living in the US. Early this morning, I removed overgrown branches from our spruce trees. Working the land brings such satisfaction. I also make our neighbors happy with my sour dough bread. You wrapped it so nicely in that cloth and added a special finishing touch with some flowers. You certainly are enough!❤ I wonder if our ancestors ever questioned their own value like we " modern" people do. They were so busy being self-sufficient, but going back in time, by reading old philosophers, they also speak of that subject as well. It looks as if it's just our human nature. Enjoy the remaining days of summer. I am thrilled to see the heat go and will welcome fall with open arms😂
