The fact that Dragons breathe different colored fire makes them feel more magical and I can't wait to see Sunfyre in HoTD

Not only looks but also characters
Rhaegal is aggressive one he kills Quentin Martell when he tries steal Viserion.
Viserion is mommy boy the laziest one and clingy to his mommy
Drogon is the wild one and independent one he is also the biggest

Really disappointed they didn't make them more faithful to the books. They would have looked awesome.

That's my favorite thing about HotD. All the dragons are so unique. I especially love the ancient look of Vhagar and the very traditional "European dragon" look of Meleys

Even their personalities are described in the books. They tried to express it in the show like when Daenerys destroyed the army at Meereen, you'd see Drogon and Viserion being steady and burning only one ship as Daenerys wanted and Rhaegal was flying around like it was the best day of his life burning even more ships. It was funny to see him be wild. But it wasn't enough to show how their personalities.
And that's why they seem connected to Aegon's dragons, Drogon is the big dark terror like Balerion, Viserion is the elegant and calm dragon like Meraxes and Rhaegal is the ferocious and dangerous dragon like Vhagar.

Viserion is Dany’s favorite dragon. He’s more tame and a total mommas boy in the book

They BETTER not be killed off so haphazardly like in the show. I was so mad how they treated the deaths of Viserion and Rhaegal's deaths like no big deal! Even Danerys didn't react at all.

And they all have distinct personalities in the books. Viserion is a little mamas boy and so sweeeet. ❤ which will make his death so much more impactful than in the show.

Viserion is like a golden retriever who's so sweet and calm to his mother ❤️. So cute

In house of the dragon I really appreciate how different all the dragons look. Their size shape and color are really distinct.

Disappointed that they didn't use the other two dragons more than needed... one was made Ice King fodder and the other to emotionally rake up the Mad Queen...

D & D : “yeah we’re not doing that”

How those idiots killed off the dragons for the sake of the plot was just infuriating

They also aren't killed off in such insulting ways. Never seen dragons treated in such a way. Magnificent and magical, but don't see ships with scorpions from the sky?!

Dragon "Balerion reborn"
Viserion "Sunfyre reborn"
Rhaegal "Vermithor reborn"

The way that Drogon, Viserion and Rhegal are described seems like Martin wants them to be an exact reflection or a recantation of Balerion, Mexares and Vhagar, which makes me teorize that Danny will be the next conqueror of Westeros.

The show really made them generic, they could have pushed for more distinct features. They even blanched out their colors so much I had trouble telling which was which, unless it was face-to-face with Drogon.

I hope they can atlest do a faithful animation adaptation of the books, they atlest owe us that. Animation is perfect for the books since they don’t have to deal with the live action limitation
