For the most part, food is not taxed anyway. The only items that are taxed in a grocery store are items that many Canadians have stopped buying because they are considered luxury items, like prepared veggie and fruit trays, sandwiches, candy and pop. I know I'm set to save about $24 over two months. I won't leave town.
