It was close race. Either way Sparky channel wins!

Cool video, and great comparison again! Top of the line again and about! Great video Bill!

May have been a better test if air was constantly blown on each board to clear the chips. That way each opponent wouldn't have to stop to find the next mark under the chips.

Even though it’s a Powerstack these batteries aren’t comparible. Should’ve used a 5ah Powerstack atleast

I REALLY like that you're testing tools with your ins8ight, but there are a few good recommendations in these comments that could help your review seem more unquestionable.

Hey, Sparky great test! How about when you drill you keep going without any break or wiping away chips? This will reduce uncertainty in the results greatly!

When Dewalt has these in 4, 8, 10ha versions they're going to be limited only by the tool they're connected to. These things will be untouchable imo.

Pretty impressive for that little tiny battery

I have 4 of the 1.7 power stack battery's along with several of the older Dewalt 5ah and the power stacks are lighter but perform at least as well as the 5ah. As you saw in the comparison the 1.7 nearly beat the Milwaukee 6ah at less than half the weight. Pound for pound and AH per AH Dewalt is the best.

I can’t wait to Dewalt makes a bigger one of those batteries

What is cost per Amp Hour? The Hammer drills are very close otherwise. I’d buy either one. Battery cost is going to be the deciding factor now and in future when they discharge/fail over time.

The Milwaukee battery is a 5S - 2P configuration using 3.0 AH Li-Ion cells. The DeWalt battery is a 5S - 1P configuration using 1700 mAH Li-Ion cells. The 2P configuration provides a lower internal impedance and can supply more current under load than a 1P configured battery pack. The 6.0 AH battery pack will provide more run time than will the 1.7 AH pack if the current draw is similar between the drills.

I'd like to see a DCD998 POWER DETECT take a shot at this with the P/STACK.
Eager for them to use these in FLEVOLT type packs.

I'm good with the Red drill and the 6.0ah battery.

Should have used the top of the line dewalt drill (DCD999) vs the top of the line Milwaukee (2804-20)
