So we’ve discussed that Kyoshi was arguably the strongest Avatar to have ever lived, but did you know that this was due to her having one of strongest waterbending abilities ever, an ability that would eventually become a forbidden bending technique. You see at one point in her life she was not believed to be the Avatar, instead it was believed to be a man named Yun. In fact Kyoshi was believed to be nothing more than Yun’s personal maid at that time. Later after Kyoshi was found to be the avatar Yun became angry and eventually tried to kill everyone including Kyoshi. During Yun’s battle with Kyoshi, he managed to kill and injure many of her allies. In the end Kyoshi apologized to Yun for his suffering, and then proceeded to turn the blood in his body and even the moisture in the air to ice, subsequently killing one of the two people she loved most. She would then turn to her injured ally and use the hands that had just killed someone to then bring one back from the brink of death. Showcasing her power to both give and take life.

Kyoshi and Yangchen were the definition of fuck around and find out, but most importantly both were the only 2 avatars known to be Woman before Korra and ironically the 2 most deadliest avatars to be known, one literally had inmortality mixed in with the power of taking and giving life while separating a whole island from the Main continent, and then the other one being able to literally take the air out of your lungs and even create force fields made out of pure void

Kyoshi was so good at being the avatar that she just gave up in her life. She was immortal and bored and just decided she was done.

She was also tall as hell, probably the most powerful earth bender to ever live (even if she lacked the finesse of Toph) and she was basically immortal (230 years old by the time of her death).

Honestly, if they ever make a new Avatar series again, i think having a "False Avatar" antagonist would be a cool idea. Imagine someone who pretends they can be done all four elements, or maybe they can through some corrupt means. (It's been done before in Legend of Kora) And their entire goal is to make the Avatar look like a terrible person, to the point of fear.

Kyoshi is my top favorite avatar in the entire avatar line. Instead of remaking the first Avatar series or making sequels, they should've just animated her story. It's already written and it's gold.

Fun fact, during the siege of the north, you can see Paku turn like 6 firebenders at once to ice. You actuqlly see them turn blue. One of those "blink and you miss it" type of deals.
