The witness tampering is for his ex girlfriend and her mom. The information that brought the charges was obtained from Mellys moms phone which is now been found to be illegally obtained by the main detective and covered up by Mrs Bradley. I do absolutely believe he killed his friends but could walk because of the detective and the state. If so the information from his mom’s phone will not be admissible in court so these charges could get dropped as well. This whole situation has been crazy and I kinda feel like in the long run, because of a very bad detective and a prosecutor who hid evidence from the defense, that those young men’s families will not get justice for them. If Melly and Bortlen walk, their families need to sue the hell out of the police department and the prosecutor who was told since 2021 to turn the evidence over to the defense by her boss and chose not to because she wanted to win this case, without a fair trial.
