Thanks for this. Its folks like you, and others who take the time to explain (love the notepad list) that restores my faith in human beings. Almost makes up for people who just plain suck.
Thanks again. I have to update from 7.22 to 7.23 and I've been dreading the manual process, but this makes it easy to follow.

I've never done an update because I just could not get it. This one video allowed me to complete my update to the latest version. Thank You!

Thanks for this tutorial, man. I had no idea it was so simple. I've just updated three websites flawlessly. Tonight I will update another one from 7.14 (I know, shame on me for waiting so much to update it!)

Thanks for this tutorial.. very helpful. If you had to update many versions... from 7.29 to 7.50 what would you suggest?Step by step, each one at a time? 7.29 to 7.31, 7.31 to 7.32, 7.32 to 7.34 and so on?

ok one more thing. It may happen that version update does not include any database updates. In that case when you upload your newer files - the update.php will display "No Pending Updates" but when you get to "Modules" in admin panel you will notice that all is in newer version which is ok. Such situation is for example when updating from 7.17 to 7.18

did you override all ecept for sites folder and files mentioned in the clip? Like .. did you override the modules folder? I have not met such situation before tbut i heard about such when you do not override some core files with new version.
