ClearPath-SC g-Stop Control: Ultra Smooth Motion Profiles

Learn about Teknic's all-in-one ClearPath-SC integrated servo system with g-Stop tuning. G-Stop command tuning sculpts traditional motion profiles in such a way to remove energy from the profiles where there are machine resonances and concentrate energy where there are none. This allows for faster and smoother moves with less vibration.

ClearPath SC is controlled via a host application in software. SC gives customers greater flexibility to meet the needs of conditional and complex applications. The SC does not use a third party indexer like the SD series nor input triggers like on the MC series. Everything is written and moves are commanded using your C++ application codes and Teknic's API.

This is super. I plan to use it on our next Presidential elections. You said it was good for jerk-stopping, right?

Great stuff. Are any videos that walk through sFoundation library coming? Overview of the API is much needed! Working on software that moves ClearPath-SCs and it feels a bit lonely without examples and demos to watch and a platform to discuss things. Thanks for asking for feedback! Is it possible to move sFoundation to GitHub? After all, this is where open-source software lives nowadays. Thanks for the great content!

Very impressive! Is the SC option available for step & direction applications?
Any plans for a NEMA 17 size line of products?

Are you guys looking into making a servo with more than 6400 encoder resolution per say 20k or so. Having issues with artifacts were servo seems to be jumping between counts to keep it in position with higher resolution encoders this issue seems to be less noticeable
