IVF embryo transfer being performed by Dr. Randy S. Morris at the Naperville Fertility Center.
Just before the embryo transfer, the embryo is loaded into a catheter by the embryologist. While this is being done the #fertility specialist, places a speculum into the patient's vagina and uses an abdominal ultrasound to view the uterus.
This video shows the uterus as seen on the ultrasound
The embryologist carries the embryo transfer catheter into the procedure room and hands it to the physician.
The physician advances the catheter into the uterine cavity and by pressing the plunger on the attached syringe, the embryo is transferred into the uterus.
The #embryotransfer catheter is removed and the patient is taken to the recovery area.
