Big same...some folks don't realize that it's not just your relationship particulars, but every day life that is affected in ways allos take for granted.

Aces have all various attitudes to sex itself, but it's how the concept connects to other people that really seems to trip things up.

The way I relate to sexuality as an ace is normal to me, it works fine for me, but it doesn't work for most people. For me, that's why the label of asexuality felt so important to claim, because it explained a dissonance that had always been there, making me uncomfortable. It helped me understand what had always been "wrong" and that it wasn't actually wrong at all.
