Next stop: Niagara Falls -- the new Amtrak station opens

The new station cost $43 million and includes several amenities travelers have been seeking for years

It's great that Niagara Falls now has a new Amtrak station which is bigger than the one they used that was the Lehigh Valley railroad station. That will help revive Niagara Falls, NY which was once the true & real Chemical Capital of the world. My late father worked in Niagara Falls at Olin-Matheson & Carborundum in the 1950's & early 1960's. The last time I visited Niagara Falls was the 1971 Labor Day weekend.

Now they need to do something about Exchange Street in Buffalo. the roof caved in recently.

I had a chance to go with my father and the train used the old station that was the tuborliners from there it was. On to exchange street and on to Syracuse
