Although it was mentioned, it should be emphasized to visitors that there is an international border separating some of these attractions from the others. The Niagara Falls area is not like one big park (e.g. Disneyland), so visitors have to take that into account when making their plans.
Generally, the Canadian side has a greater variety of things to do, and the views of all of the falls tend to be slightly better from there. However, the American side has some unique attractions and beautiful views of the Canadian side.
All that said, Niagara Falls is a wonderful place that every person should see at least once in their lifetime.
