How did you get cakewalk midi instrument ? You don't get that midi instrument with reaper.

WHAT'S THE SOFTWARE I'M LOOKING FOR? I want to play freely and improvise on the keyboard, then see the midi track & notation. no live/actual sound recording needed, just want the midi track without having to play each hand seperatly.. just TO go at it and see later what i did.

Hi, I have connected my keyboard (Kawai MP7) to my laptop (Windows 10) through the Roland UM-ONE interface, and I also have the Reaper software installed. When I play my keyboard, I see that the software on my laptop is registering the input (ie. different soundwaves appear), however, I cannot hear any sound whatsoever, no matter whether I connect my headphones or my speakers to my laptop.. I hope this somehow makes sense to you :)
