Midi Keyboard Setup in Logic Pro X

This is a quick tutorial on how to set up a midi controller or keyboard inside of Logic Pro X
The midi keyboard used in this Logic Pro X tutorial is the M-Audio Keystation MK3, although this method will work with most other brands (Not Every Brand)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This is exactly what I needed. I could not for the life of me figure out how to get the record/play/arrow buttons on my keystation 49es to work. They were playing notes just as you demonstrated. Changing the setting to “TRANSPORT” it makes total sense now. Thank you I still have some hair left!

To control the fader its just going to preferences and click on the learn message and push the volume up and down then click done ... with that you can see the fader moving up and down.. Thanks

This method works if you’re doing the initial setup for the Yamaha MX49/61/88.
