On the long note in the solo, perhaps you could give it vibrato (shake the string up and down)?

not a guitarist or a musician but i know that eddie van halen used to do 2 or 3 solos and then mix them all together and learn the result
thought you might wanna try that

As a guitarist your doing perfect! don't get too in deep on technicality unless you really want it for yourself. as much as I hate to admit it no one really cares about flashy solos other than guitarists and metal heads lol. if you want some different sounds try and find some modes or scales that you dont normally use but would still fit the progression. Or you can try using leading notes / chromatics to make some tension. easy way to get some tasty sounding notes in there !

Good shit on the guitar. Any advice though would be to work on that pick holding.😊

Unless you want the solo to be the main focus of the section/song, I’d keep it simple and smooth like you did here. If you want it to be flashy I’d definitely try and learn some more advanced techniques like tapping and sweep-picking to make it sound even cooler. But this is just coming from an aspiring 15 year old guitarist. Good work, man!
