I like how this went from Civil to Mechanical real quick. As an engineering student myself for the past 4.5 years, I can assure you packed schedules are the least of your concerns, as we skip them frequently to study and catch up for the other units during the entire semester.

It's an endless cat and mouse game, throughout the entire semester. To all the aspiring engineers who bump into my comment, never give up!

Wow I think I want this to be my major. Playing with legos for nine hours straight, waking up to the Bob the Builder theme, and taking 30 minutes to choose which hard hat to wear for the day are all things I do on a daily basis. That plus my paper airplane making hobby AND my ability to build IKEA furniture(sort of)((I can’t))
