Mostly, everyone in the UK has to wear school uniforms whereas most public schools in the US is the opposite. LET'S DEBATE!

i don’t particularly like my school uniform but every single person wears it so it’s fine, i can’t imagine having to pick out an outfit every morning so i’m glad i can just reach for the same uniform every day. also we have mufti days and people always judge each other’s clothes so i wouldn’t want that every day

I loved school uniform tbh I hated non school uniform day, everyone judging you on what you were wearing, gave me mad anxiety. I just ended up wearing uniform on non school uniform day

My mum is a teacher, and she told me a very interesting point about school uniform here in England.
Giving kids a uniform and enforcing it so strictly, gives kids something easy and trivial to rebel against, rather than doing something which could actually be serious
