Today I will outline how far to keep different wattage LED grow lights from your plants and how to detect and correct issues.

Its true, I'm new to using grow lights. I had bought a set of LED grow lights and had it too close and burned a baby Giant sequoia seedling. within 5 hours my seedling which was standing straight became a well-defined U, with withered leaves.

My first time using grow lights for vegetables, first time using grow lights. There was a booklet with the lights but is written for cannabis, the duration of the lights didn't make sense 24 hours for germination 23 hours for seeding etc, seems a bit excessive to me, unless one lives in the Arctic circle that much light isn't normal. Your explanation seemed right on thank you for the video and thank you for your service.

Some led grow lights have a dimmer. Could you leave the grow light at its original height and adjust the intensity of the light? Just a thought.

Shane from MIGROW YOUTUBE channel does great light tests, he has tested APPS available that will let your smartphone work as a PAR meter. I have DE HPS AIR COOLED HOODS and have LED ranging from ROOT FARM 45 WATT clone light to true draw 1000 watt PHOTOTEX BAR future that has full coverage for a C02 enhanced 5x5 grow tent and the worst LED i have seen for light information being incorrect are the lights under 150 watt draw lots of BS on coverage area and incorrect hanging hight info i Strongly urge anyone who is using lights to grow to look at getting the PAR meter APP for their phone and LEARN about D.L.I for the crop they are growing

I have a really important question I have an LED 3000 watt full spectrum that has all colors it has six colors in it I have plants that are about as long as my middle finger they're pretty much babies that came out the dirt for about a week now they're up pretty good I have the light about 4 ft from the plants the plants are in plastic buckets that are a little bit high like normal planting buckets.. is that too high from them basically from the plant to the light is 4 ft just need to know this I can't find a video or basic questions of how actual high a 3000 watt full spectrum LED light should be away from more baby plants they're in their stage where they only have four leaves
